My Personal Background

I was born in Iserlohn, Germany. My father served in World War II and later in the Black Watch. His paternal lineage descends from Chief Michel Alquimou, later baptized Michael Augustine who signed Treaties of Peace and Friendship with the English in the 1700s. The Richibucto Treaty 1760 and the Miramichi Treaty 1779 were signed by Chief Michael Augustine on behalf of the Richibucto Tribe of Mi'kmaq.
